Winter Wedding
Winter is around the corner, and I hear winter bells ringing; could it be Christmas bells or wedding bells? Well, one thing for sure, its Christmas bells. But wait! I hear different bells ringing- it must be the wedding bells.
Winter is the time where dream weddings take place. Why? What’s with winter time that wedding bells ring? Winter can be a wonderful time for wedding because there is style in it, the theme is there: the cold breeze, the snow flakes, white wedding cakes and ice designs, and everything are almost white aligned with the wedding color. All these creates a magical scene like heaven; with cloud-like snow surrounding the place, white doves freely flying above, the entourage, all dressed in white, marching down the aisle like angels, the flower girls sprinkling flowers all over the place like seraphs and cherubim, and the grandest part of all, the groom or bride, the ultimate feeling of heaven in finally having the love of your life, to finally live with the person you want to live for rest of your life, loving and being loved by the one you truly love.
Winter ambiance creates a dream wedding that seems to take you to a magical winter wedding wonderland; it creates a sense of movie magic like those fairytales that says ‘...and they live happily ever after’. No wonder many couples love to have their wedding on winter to experience that magic, and it became known as the wedding winter.

What nature scene(s) do you imagine when thinking of camping in the winter?
Just curious. I always think of leaves rustling, or woodpecks boring holes in trees, or birds singing. etc; What do you think of?
Please nothing gruesome. xP
Sorry about that. xd Some people, who apparently are camp experts, go camping in the winter or go in cabins for vacations. Hehe.
I agree with HardCore, there is nothing better than winter camping. There are no dumb-dumbs out to start with. Snow makes it easy to track animals that would normally sneak by without being seen. The roar and heat of a fire is a beauty of its own. The air is clean crisp and dry. You can go for days without smelling like dirt and sweat, if you dress right. You will still find your woodpeckers and song birds and they are actually easier to find since there are no leaves. The nights might be cold, but the breath taking dazzle of the stars is worth the effort to warm the sleeping bag for the night. If you have any interest is rock, minerals or fossils this is also the time since the foliage is thinned out. There are so many things that make winter camping great, it worth the extra weight of carrying warm clothes. Just imagine waking to fresh snow fall and you are the first to see it beauty. Enjoying omelets and coffee for breakfast, since food does not spoil. Basking on a rock in the afternoon watching raptors soar overhead. Feasting on steak and chatting by a warm crackling fire. Then you finally end the night by counting satellites and shooting stars only to retire and do it again the next day.
