How do I frame stretched canvas for a painting exhibit?
How do I frame a painting so that it looks presentable enough to put in a painting exhibit? It is on stretched canvas, about 18x22". The show is in 2 days, so I need something that's pretty simple and quick (and not too expensive!)
Do art stores carry ready-made frames for stretched canvas, or will I be stuck making one myself?
Michaels, hobby lobby and other stores like that sell ready made frames. Also check with frame shops they sometimes have inexpensive frames that they sell. Sometimes they have frames that they make from discontinued stock which can cost $1 a foot. Search them online in your area.
