Slide one end of the hanging wire into one of the strap hangers and securely wrap the end around it five or six times. Insert the hanging wire into the other strap hanger, leaving a little bit of slack. Then, wrap the end as you did with the first one.

Ideas for painting an ornate mirror frame?
We have a beautiful, old very ornate mirror my grandmother-in-law gave to us and we want to use it in our decor. However, it is really kind of gold, Louie 14 style design and doesn't fit in. I was thinking of spray painting it a dark chocolate color that would go with the rest of the furniture peices in the room and make it a part of the foyer. Any ideas?
I would just clean it up and leave as is or gold or silver leaf! I wold not Spray Paint.
That is why it is beautiful!
They are now putting " Granny couches" with glass top chrome end or coffee tables!
Somehow it seems to work and actually looks very nice!
